RESURFACING - "The Platco Difference"
Platco's experience technicians resurface your granite surface plates to an accuracy and finish once thought to be achieved only at the factory.
ACCURACY
1. EXPERIENCED BASED BUSINESS - All Three field technicians work exclusively on surface plates. This insures they have the 'touch' necessary for precision lapping.
2. LAPPING TO A HIGHER STANDARD - Platco laps to a tolerance that is up to 4 times more accurate then our competitors. The federal specification allows two separate repeat reading tables. Platco resurfaces to the higher standard that requires a repeat reading of .0001" for grade B, .00005" for grade A, and .000025" for grade AA.
3. MULTIPLE SIZE LAPS - Using a variety of lap sizes eliminates any possibility of waviness.
LONGEVITY - A wet lap finish is essential to the wear life of your plate. Our 600 grit wet lap gives you a 25-30 micro finish. This provides a superior finish, highly resistant to wear.
